Does Windstream Internet have data caps?

Windstream does not manage network congestion by capping an individual customer’s usage, reducing the speed of an individual customer’s service once a certain amount of usage is exceeded, or other similar strategies.

What equipment is required for internet service?

Depending on the service you will need a connecting device like a router, a DSL router, or a cable modem. Windstream will provide rental of equipment needed for Internet services. Windstream doesn’t provide dial-up modems.

Can Windstream internet use any email address?

Windstream doesn’t limit what email addresses you can use. If you have an email address already continue to use it just like you always have. With our Internet services we provide free windstream.net email addresses to customers who want them.

Is there an early cancellation fee?

No, Windstream does not charge a termination fee in the event you decide to cancel your service.
